Among the salt-free diets, there is a strict regime. This in turn provides less than 1.5 gram of salt. It is rarely prescribed.

It is even more restrictive, especially for vegetables and meat. Also removed the white cheese and dairy products (there are milk without salt).
List of essential foods to avoid:

- Salt;

- The crackers, peanuts and all the “appetizers”;

- Salted products: all meats including ham, crackers or sweets (they also contain salt);

- Canned vegetables without salt unsecured. However, if you use natural vegetable, be sure to rinse well before consumption;

- Preserved meats, salted or smoked (duck breast, confit, gizzards etc. ..);

- Salted fish (smoked, canned: sardines, tuna, anchovies, mackerel);

- Prepared meals Trade;

- Cheeses: all, including the gruyere cheese and fresh serving. The only cheese is unsalted white cheese, yogurt or small-Swiss;

- Shellfish and shellfish: oysters, mussels, shrimps, prawns, etc … ;

- Bread and salted biscuits;

- Salty condiments: pickles, mustard, olives and variants. You can use herbs and spices but exaggerated consumption of the latter;

- Alcoholic beverages;

- Sparkling mineral waters: Badoit Vichy Yorre St., San Pellegrino, the lithia.

With the advent of drugs more efficient, diuretics, signs of low salt diet are less numerous
