It’s very exciting surpassing coffee, fruit far better known.

Guarana produces very large activation energy for the nervous system. But the excesses in consumption of this fruit produce insomnia. It is very good against the voltage produced by a state of anxiety or depression because it acts as a stimulating agent.

On the other hand should not be taken by those who are nervous, very sensitive and sullen temperament. It is counterproductive for digestive problems or constipation.
Nutritional value as a natural remedy and home

It contains mostly water and caffeine.

Guava is only the fruit, at least studied at the present, which contains 15 vitamins. Its vitamin C content is higher than in many citrus fruits because it has a ratio of almost 300 mg per 100 g of fruit. It is useful in many ailments which need a supply of vitamin C.

Guava is very important for oral and skin disorders, infections, stress and anxiety. It is equally as powerful antioxidant.

The rind is rich in tannin and very astringent. It has been used traditionally in the Far East to treat diarrhea. However, the mature fruit is excellent as strong laxative in constipation problems.

Guava relieves digestive disorders, bowel and liver. It’s a very full fruit both in vitamins, protein, trace elements and mineral salts. It strengthens the lymphatic system.

There is a red variety that contains a huge amount of vitamin A and iron B12 and more opposed to the white guava. It contains five times more vitamin C than oranges. It is a great food very suitable especially for children by food content. It stimulates the heart and is very useful for high blood pressure. Great for uric acid but prolonged intake is recommended.

Nutritional value of guava as a natural remedy and home

Guava is almost 78% water but is very high in calorie (50%). It is rich in fiber, tannic acid and vitamin A. The red variety has many more nutrients.

How to use the custard as a home remedy and natural product?

Eat guava for a great source of vitamin C. Slice fruit in half and eat it directly. Do not overcook it could lose nearly 50% of their vitamin value.

You can peel and add to fruit salads.

Combine several tropical fruits.

Add them to baked apples with a little cinnamon. The combination is very pleasing to the palate.

Also delicious in juices, ice creams and sweets, combining well, mix well with milk, milk, yoghurt, cream to be sweet fruit.

According to tradition, the angelic is a miracle plant which kept the plague, neutralized the effect of poisons and prolong life.

This is a beautiful plant that is used as a remedy for a relatively short time, perhaps because being very cold climate, their strengths were not known until it was grown in medieval Europe.

It is an herb from a little over a meter tall that lives for two years. The leaves are shaped like those of parsley, but many older, nearly 50 cm. They fit the stem, hollow, enclosing; this straight, culminating in what is called an umbel: a common point numerous stalks arise at the end of which appear a few jars of tiny florets. From its roots, robust, emits a milky juice when cut.

The whole plant, i.e. root, stem, leaf and fruit essence and a substance containing (among many others) called angelic acid.

Medicinal properties

It has been used to combat the plague, and although it has diuretic and expectorant properties, is used almost exclusively to promote digestion by stimulating action of gastric juices.

In practice the root is used, the fruits and leaves: the fruit is picked ripe (umbels are cut with their tails) during the summer of sophomore year. However, the following must be started before blooming, so it will not serve the same plant for root and fruit. The leaves can be cut as they grow enough, though how early summer.

Uses & Applications

We said that the angelic aids digestion. Indeed, both the root and the leaves and fruits are used as a stomach. It is taken by infusion, prepared from the root, cut into small pieces, or sheets, also chopped, or off: put water to boil (one quart) and when it starts to boil bursts a teaspoonful of root or leaves (or both at once), turn off the heat, cover the container and wait about five or ten minutes. It should be hot after meals.

It is part of many drinks known as “stomach” that are sold in shops. One way to prepare a drink craft such would be: placed in a glass-mouthed a couple of teaspoons of angelica root (the root best fruits), leaves of mint and chamomile and a few grains of aniseed. Fill the container up to one liter of 96 degrees alcohol beverage special (not the pharmacy) and stand for one “Novena (nine days) in a cool place. Filter and add about two quarts of syrup (sugar dissolved in water in equal amounts). Allow to macerate again, now for a month at least. The longer is the better taste. Filter before taking it. The leaves can be eaten boiled, like vegetables.

For bitter and digestive properties, infusion of angelica is used to relieve upset stomach.

Garlic can be helpful in preventing a cold. The good news is there are some promising studies support the claim.

For example, a study conducted in 2001 double blind study found that healthy adults who took garlic supplements daily were less likely to get a cold and recovered faster when they became ill.

Clearly further research is needed to complete the verification but the Times came to this conclusion: “The research is limited, but suggests that garlic may actually help prevent colds.

It has the ability to maintain strong immune system, lower cholesterol, reduce risk of cancer, keep blood pressure low and cure yeast infections or yeast.

Garlic is rich in salicylic acid, whose properties stand in relation to blood thinning, which promotes blood circulation, regulating blood pressure, therefore, represents an ally in the fight against hypertension.

In natural medicine has been used as a natural antibiotic that acts par excellence and efficiently prevent infection by germs, viruses or fungi.

In Chinese medicine is widely used, particularly for respiratory conditions, by their condition that favors stimulation spicy lung, mobilizing phlegm and also removed the infections, this medicine for any illness associated with the lungs, belongs to the metal element.

The chemical found in vegetables and particularly in the cruciferous family or cabbages, cauliflowers, broccoli, etc., enhance the body’s defense system as well as cleaning the arteries.

The discovery by scientists at Imperial College London, was finally able to crack the code, to use the vegetable ingredient in the treatment of cardiac patients.

Professor Peter Weissberg, medical director of the British Heart Foundation, which funded the research, revealed in this investigation that could lead to more specific dietary and medical approaches to prevent or lessen the disease that leads to heart attacks and stroke.

The researchers found arterial branches (double) that are more susceptible to disease because they lack a protein called NRF2, in contrast to the straight sections of the artery which are protected by the protein, which prevents cells swell, an indication early development of heart disease.

When NRF2 is disabled in areas of arterial branches, the protection disappears, but the reactive sulforaphane restored the ability of arteries to take care of themselves.

The compound is found naturally in broccoli, for what our next steps include testing whether simply eating broccoli and other vegetables from his family, has the same protective effect.

Onions are a rich source of oligosaccharides, which can stimulate the growth of healthy bifidobacteria and suppress the growth of potentially harmful bacteria in the colon, which translates into protection preventing tumor development in the area.

Onions contain a number of sulfides similar to those found in garlic, both of which belong to the family of the lilies, compounds that can reduce blood lipids and blood pressure.

In India, according to statistics, those communities who did not eat onion or garlic, and cholesterol were significantly higher triglycerides and altered blood clotting times in relation to the communities that ate liberal amounts of garlic and onion.

Onions are a rich source of flavonoids, substances known for its protective property against cardiovascular disease and natural anticoagulants are also agents since they possess substances with fibrinolytic activity and can suppress platelet aggregation.

The anticoagulant effect of the onion is closely correlated with its sulfur content, which prevents blood clots and therefore strokes.

Extracts of onion to be very rich in sulfides, provide some protection against tumor growth, in central Georgia (USA) where Vidalia onions are grown, mortality rates from stomach cancer are about half the average level in the United States.

Studies in Greece have shown that high consumption of onions, garlic and herbs, Allium, are protective against stomach cancer.
